A discussion about coming to the next general election with the sign of the elephant and the sign of the cup

 

 Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has met the group of parliamentarians who supported the presidential election this morning (23).

According to that, it is reported that the Sri Lanka United Freedom Front and the United National Party have held discussions about contesting with the elephant symbol for the upcoming parliamentary general election.

It is further stated that discussions are to be held to bring together the Samagi Jana Balawega for this alliance and the responsibility has been assigned to Ruwan Wijewardena, the deputy leader of the United National Party.
